The 700 Club received a welcome fundraising boost thanks to the support of Darlington Lions Club and the local community.
On 27 March 2010, the Lions held a fundraising concert at Polam Hall School featuring local four-piece folk group FOURUM.
Money raised through ticket sales and a raffle resulted in a donation of more than £600 to the 700 Club, which had been chosen as Darlington Lions Club’s main charity for the year.
The event was another example of the valuable support the 700 Club has received from local organisations and the Darlington community throughout its history, helping the charity continue its work supporting people experiencing homelessness and vulnerability in the town.
