On the 23rd and 24th of December, 350 families including almost 1000 children, came through our doors to shop for everything they needed for a Christmas meal, all free of charge. From a large turkey, to fresh vegetables, frozen items, Yorkshire puddings, a chocolate yule log, and Christmas crackers; everything they needed to have a true traditional family Christmas meal at home with all of their family.

We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who made this possible. Because of your generosity, enough food was provided to ensure over 2,750 people could sit down to a Christmas dinner. And every child had a present to open on Christmas morning.

Thank you to the local schools and agencies who referred the 350 families who benefitted. Thank you to the volunteers who stood alongside the 700 Club staff team offering their time, their energy and their kindness. Thank you to ‘Cash for Kids’ and others, for donating all of the toys. Thank you for those who contributed financially and most importantly… Thank you to every family who visited. Seeing you, speaking with you, sharing those moments meant the world to us.

We hope the experience brought a little light into your Christmas. It certainly brought a great deal of joy to ours.
